In Cambodia, age and culture shape how we work. Starting Jobify at 22, I learned young people make mistakes but grow stronger with time. Instead of criticism, older generations should guide and encourage. Bridging this age gap helps Khmer Coders build collaboration and a stronger tech ecosystem.

WebSocket servers maintain persistent client connections, but when scaled horizontally, each instance handles its own isolated connections. This creates a challenge: messages can't reach clients connected to other instances.

Khmerlang.com, founded in 2019, was born after the Khmer Coder community to address the lack of Khmer language technology. It began with a mobile keyboard app to help users write Khmer from Latin script and soon evolved into a broader initiative focused on Khmer NLP. As a centralized platform, Khmerlang.com now offers tools, datasets, and educational content to support Khmer AI development. Its mission is clear: to empower the Khmer language through AI and digital tools, inviting the community to join and contribute to making Khmer a first-class language in the digital age.

Behind every resume is a life, not just bullet points. Rejection is part of hiring, but silence isn’t. Ghosting leaves candidates in painful limbo and hurts employer trust. A simple “thank you, not this time” shows respect and gives closure every applicant deserves.

When being able to code well is a bare minimum, what comes next?

Last two weeks, I had the great honor of joining the Plug and Play Silicon Valley Summit 2025 — a global gathering of startups, investors, and innovation leaders from around the world. As the Founder & CEO of Jobify (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., and a proud member of the Khmer Coders Community, I had the rare chance to represent Cambodia’s tech ecosystem on one of the world’s biggest innovation stages. This wasn’t just a business trip. It was a powerful reminder of how far Cambodian developers and startups can go — and how much further we can reach when we work together.
Khmer Coders has grown to become Cambodia's largest coding community. We bring together developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts to learn, share, and grow together.
