Washed up Software Engineer
@rathpanha
I am a washed up Software Engineer with 7 years of experience building scalable web apps, real-time features, and cloud-based systems.
Royal5G, Inthanou Farm (2025 - Present)
I am currently developing a real estate website and property valuation system for Royal5G Realty. The platform includes features such as property listings, geo-location-based search, valuation tools using local market data, and a user-friendly interface to support both buyers and sellers. In parallel, I am also building a farming management system for Inthanou Farm, designed to streamline and optimize the crop cycle. This system tracks planting schedules, monitors crop health, manages inventory and resources, and provides insights through data analytics to improve overall farm productivity and decision-making.
Mediaload (2019 - 2024)
I developed a custom CMS to manage and publish articles across multiple high-traffic websites, along with a Contributor platform for freelance writers to submit content. I built backend APIs using GraphQL with a MySQL database and added PWA support using Next.js for mobile optimization. The infrastructure was deployed using Docker on Fly.io and DigitalOcean, with performance enhanced through Cloudflare caching and DNS. I also used Expo and React Native for hybrid mobile development and integrated Revive Adserver for in-article ads. Additionally, I collaborated with international developers on the TrueID Cambodia platform, contributing to front-end features and API integrations.
Khmerhome (2017 - 2018)
I built a Property Management System (PMS) and CRM tools for real estate agents, featuring a geo-location and MySQL full-text search that improved accuracy and boosted engagement by 30%. I also developed a Land Price Valuation system, a CMS for publishing news on web and mobile, and real-time features using WebSocket and One Signal. Additionally, I implemented analytics with Google Analytics and Redis, integrated Revive Adserver to increase ad impressions, and optimized MySQL databases for performance.
