Since its first edition, the Khmer Coders Gathering has evolved from a small community meetup into a national movement that unites developers, students, educators, and innovators with one shared mission — to build a stronger digital Cambodia.

From our gatherings in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, each edition (v1–v5) has carried the same spirit: learn, connect, and create together. These events have not only provided a space for developers to share knowledge and showcase projects but have also aligned with Cambodia’s government vision for digital transformation, encouraging digital literacy, startup innovation, and local tech investment.

Now, as we enter the era of Artificial Intelligence, the Khmer Coders Community (KCC) is stepping into a new milestone — the Khmer Coders Gathering v6 + Vibe Coding & AI Agent Seminar, happening on 22nd November 2025 at Conexion, Phnom Penh.

From Digital People to Digital Nation

Our mission goes beyond talking about AI — we aim to inspire the next generation to understand digital technology from an early age, starting from high school to university, and empower them to become the next wave of innovators in Cambodia’s digital economy.

While AI has become a global trend, AI-driven management and practical adoption in Cambodia remain limited. Many organizations are still in the early stages of understanding how data and AI can drive productivity, governance, and innovation.

That’s why we believe digital transformation must start from the top leadership level, then cascade through companies, educators, and youth. When executives and policymakers embrace technology and data-driven decision-making, adoption becomes natural at every level, making it easier to build a digital-first culture across society.

Our Mission with v6

The Khmer Coders Gathering v6 + AI Seminar is designed to:

1. Support national digital transformation goals by promoting awareness, skills, and collaboration in AI and coding.
2. Encourage leadership in digital innovation, from government institutions to private companies.
3. Showcase real use cases of AI, coding, and automation to inspire students and professionals.
4. Strengthen connections between tech communities, startups, universities, and policymakers.
5. Motivate the next generation to pursue digital careers and contribute to Cambodia’s digital economy.

With the support of our partners, sponsors, and media allies, the Khmer Coders Gathering v6 + AI Seminar will bring together 300–500 participants from across the country — making it one of Cambodia’s largest community-led tech gatherings.

Together, we are not only talking about technology — we are building a foundation for digital transformation, investing in people, and shaping a new mindset for Cambodia’s future.

Because building a digital nation starts with building digital people — and that’s the spirit of Khmer Coders.

Alignment with Cambodia’s National Digital Vision

This initiative supports the goals of the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework 2021–2035, which envisions “a vibrant digital economy and society driven by digital citizens, digital government, and digital businesses.”
