I'm excited to share Broryat (ប្រយ័ត្ន), an open-source Telegram bot developed to help users identify suspicious messages and detect cyber threats directly in Telegram.

Why I built it

Online scams are increasing rapidly, but many cybersecurity tools are still too technical for everyday users.

Broryat is built with a focus on making cybersecurity more accessible, especially for older generations and users who are not familiar with cybersecurity tools. Instead of requiring users to manually upload files or visit multiple websites, they can simply forward a message or send a link directly to the bot and receive an easy-to-understand explanation.

My hope is that Broryat can help more people recognize scams before they become victims.
